I am a consumer who is using Turo as we speak I have spent over $2500.00

Thus far. Turo is running a promo that for every 10 days you have a vehicle they will give you a bonus day my first reservation was on the 7th of November it took me till the 10th to receive it since Turo out sources there customer service you will run into alof of barely speaking English people very un educated and with social skills that have absolutely no place on the phone doing customer service.

After receiving my first bonus day I earned a second one on the 16th of November it took me till the 20th to get a travel credit because Turos promo codes are not being sent after 36 phone calls, arguing being manipulated and lied to and disrespect and conned I was charged day for day on my reservation. No promo codes were given. No credits were given either. They are a big scam.

The result is they forced me to turn the car in today they close my account and the worst part of it is when I complained about Hamad the customer service rep because Im Jewish made the comment all Jewish people take advantage of companies like his. When I brought this to the attention to a guy by the name of Rick Farrell he did not take responsibility for any of it I placed the recording on YouTube and within three hours I got 187,000 hits Rick Farrell is on the executive staff he referred me to the arbitration department and told me I would have pay 375.00 so they can see if it could be overturned the decision to cancel my account was made by Rick Ferrell.

They did it in fear of legal repercussions as well as they have a history of Conning manipulating and disrespecting people through customer service. This company is nothing but fraudulent.

I have tried to get my claim status from email, called the representative, customer svc, and claims email. I have not received any communication about my claim. The claim dashboard on the still shows temporary unavailable. Really need help

They allow a host to scam them & me regarding a rental that the host damaged and vandalized to collect money from Turo. I have tons of video & photos showing the car was left in pristine condition. The host is a crook and Turo charge me for the host destroying his own car to collect money and Turo allowed this to happen. The host didnt bank on me having my own video & photos. The guest is not protected from these criminals hosts scam people out of their money and causing damages to their own cars to collect money via FRAUD!!!

Turo still has not reached out to resolve

We rented a Rolls Royce from Jesus. Upon return, Jesus checked car out, everything was fine.

Next thing you know we get a damage report submitted with pics that were so blatantly not how we gave car back. Clearly, Jesus wanted a new paint job. We submitted a reply on the Turo app
And waited a couple weeks for A response. There was no reply so we called and they said they sent an email saying to reply with additional info .

We asked what email and gave the one that is on the app and they stated wasnt it. Weve tried to call 6 separate times to get resolution with no one knowing what to do and promising call Backs that never happen. Not sure what other info would be needed when we stated facts and provided proof with pictures and texts.

Jesus got $2k for rental and we lost our $500 Deposit for nothing- we used Turo many times but never once thought there would be someone so outright shady to try to come up off us. We will never use this app again

I wouldn't even give a rating if I didn't think it may not publish what I have to say. While using a vehicle for a host named Brandon R.

out of Louisville KY, I let him know that I had a rock fly up and hit/damage the windshield and wanted to pay for it, of course. I thought he was a great guy. We spoke back and forth after my trip several times and he was great! I waited for him to advise me of the amount and he told me that he paid a 250 deductible and said that is what he was owed from me.

I paid that through cash app to which he confirmed the receipt of and we ended our communication pleasantly. Not long after that, we received notification that we owe over 1400 from a claim he had opened and now says he is too busy to contact them. That is illegal for one and for two trying to contact Turo is like pulling teeth. They have advised that they have now turned it into collections.

I am going to get an attorney involved. They are dishonest and unhelpful to say the least

Preferred solution: The open claim closed as I have already paid the host for damage I reported to him about his windshield. He has confirmed the priced owed and confirmed receipt of payment to which I have all the proof from the texts.

User's recommendation: I used the service with another host who was amazing so all I can say is be very vigilant on who you select to use.

User's recommendation: Don't use. I had used another guy and he was great but be very weary and vigilant in who you choose if you do use them. AND don't ever expect to get help from Turo themselves!

I rented a car on 10/06/23, I returned the car on 10/08/23 per our rental agreement. I found out later that evening when I got home from my RV trip the renter was accusing me of stealing his car and said he had called the police. I complied with the rental agreement 100%. The car was there, he was out of town. when I suggested he have someone actually LOOK to see if it was there, it was. Now Turo wants to charge me over $100 for joy riding in his car! They will not listen to my side - only the renter. I'm forced to go to AMEX and dispute the charge. What a Mickey Mouse Company!

I dont live in New Jersey And the price changed that you quoted to me I would like to pick up my car on the date and the price has changed from what first quoted and you sending me to New Jersey. I dont want to go to New Jersey.
